My food philosophy

The philosophy behind this blog is simple: good food is not that hard. So many recipes I've found online try to be impressive at the cost of being accessible. I don't use exotic ingredients or weirdly specific cooking tools. On the flip side, I also don't like buying something I can make myself. I like recipes that use simple, fresh ingredients, but if it's more practical to use something out of a can or a box, I do that. I make my cookies from scratch and my brownies from a mix. I only post recipes that I genuinely find delicious and think other people can make, even if they aren't the most experienced cooks. If something is time-consuming, that's because I think it's worth the effort, but most of the time my recipes come together in under an hour. I always test recipes first, and if it isn't great I won't post it.

I am always looking for new recipes and recommendations, so if you have any suggestions please let me know!
